To teach is to be a deeply inspired student! Our YTT immerses students deeply in Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, the original of modern day flow and power styles. Learn the art of intentional sequencing, adjustment techniques, yoga anatomy and modern alignment. Develop a meditation practice and embody your studies of yoga philosophy and practice.
Foundations of Flight
Tues Nov 13, 20, 27, 7pm-9pm
Inversions and arm balances are among the most beneficial asanas in yoga. Learn and practice the four principles of meditating on the central axis to open the heart and conquer fear, while creating stability in the shoulder girdle and hip joints. Learn the tricks for safely developing forearmstand, headstand, and shoulderstand on your own and with the wall.
Shoulder Health in Yoga
Sunday Nov 4, 12-2pm
Balancing on our hands and forearms can play a key role in developing better posture, stronger bones, and efficient breathing to keep us calm and focused among life's stresses. This workshop is for beginners and experienced students to learn to to integrate balanced shoulder alignment postures with progressions to safely move beyond the basics.
